  With so many options regarding domain names now it's hard to know which ones are best for you. Some people will say you must have every extension to protect your company name, but that can work out very expensive and is often unnecessary.   Still regarded as the most important by many, if you can get your business name with a .com extension then we suggest this is your first choice.
  
  
• .co.uk, .usa
  These are country extensions and are recomended to define your area of trading. If you can afford 2 Domain Names, we would recomend a .com and .co.uk (or whichever country you initially trade within).

  Similar to .com, just next down the pecking list. If you can't find a .com address, then try one of these next.
  
  
• .info, .biz
